The next guests of kis szoba are two bands from the Budapest hardcore punk scene, Messer and Wheelbite, who share a similar yet slightly different take on the genre. While the former relies on energetic riffs and more modern punk elements, the latter’s somewhat more laid-back sound evokes the old greats of the Hungarian scene. The members of both bands include both veterans and rising stars, offering a surprisingly comprehensive picture of the state of hardcore punk in Hungary in 2026.
