Parádé is a contemporary ballet created through a collaboration between Boban Marković Orkestar and Székesfehérvár Ballet Theatre. The production’s musical foundation is the orchestra’s album Mrak.
Expressing a particular joie de vivre through the language of dance theatre, Parádé draws on the album to present a series of moods, snapshots of life and dramatic situations.
Inspired by Boban Marković’s distinctive, dynamic, vibrant and dramatic musical world, director and choreographer Attila Egerházi has created a series of genre scenes that weave together satire and humour, portraying a world and capturing a unique way of life.
National Dance Theatre
On 15 February 2019, Budapest's unique new cultural arena opened its doors: the new National Dance Theatre in Millenáris Park. The building, equipped with the latest theatre technology and featuring unique architectural solutions, offers two theatre halls and a chamber hall for dance lovers, as well as rehearsal rooms for professional dancers. The foyer of the building will also become a community space open to visitors to the park, giving Millenáris the opportunity to become even more part of the capital's bloodstream.
