Schedule
The five episodes of the “In Tune with Nature” film series have three things in common: live performances by contemporary Hungarian artists, the unparalleled beauty of the Balaton Uplands, and the creative force and producer, Zsófi Punk, and director-producer László Réti. On this evening, prior to the screening at 8:00 p.m., we have invited them to a brief discussion. Joined by Lőrinc Barabás and Béla Szilárd Jávorszky, they will talk about the series’ creation, their related experiences, and the possibility of a sequel.
Just as diverse as the environment of the “Hungarian Sea” is the lineup of musicians performing amidst a wide variety of natural wonders:
In his atmospheric solo performances—which boldly embrace improvisation—trumpeter and composer Lőrinc Barabás blends jazz, electronics, and neoclassical elements coexist in perfect harmony, just as the dolomite mine in Gyenesdiás embraced this captivating concert—a fitting conclusion to the “Tuned to Nature” series. Whether this is a concert film, a tourism promotional piece, or a music documentary is for everyone to decide for themselves.
