As former and current curators of the Salons, the programme’s participants look back on the series’ experiences and changes, and on how the exhibition and professional landscape of Hungarian photography has evolved in recent years.

The discussion is particularly timely as the 3rd National Salon of Photographic Art draws to a close: the 2026 exhibition reflects on the changing nature of contemporary photography, including the challenges posed by digital imaging and artificial intelligence.
