Az L1 Egyesület bemutatja Veres Flóra – TalkingBodies: BURN
BURN explores the force that keeps driving us forward even when there is no longer any rational reason to do so. When, if we look closely, there is nothing left. The piece is about passion and the inner fire that drives us without explanation. If it wants, it moves us forward; if it wants, it consumes us; if it wants, it disappears. And we decide what to do with it.
Schedule
BURN explores what remains when everything has burned away.
What is it that still stirs beneath the surface and sets us in motion, carrying us forward when rationality is no longer enough?
BURN is a world where decisions are made dancing on the boundary between the conscious and the unconscious. Where does that spark come from when the flame seems to be dying out? What turns a no into a yes, smouldering silence into a stubborn flare?
The characters of BURN themselves hover within this dual existence, suspended in the tension between the desire to reveal themselves and the desire to hide, on the threshold between approaching and retreating, surrender and self-protection. Something drives them even when there is no longer a reason to go on.
They walk across embers. Their souls cool into glowing coals, yet remain incapable of going out. Something smoulders beneath the skin — burning, pressing, consuming. Yet it also gives life, creates movement, warmth and strength.
BURN invites the audience on a vibrant journey, where, in the fleeting glow of a spark, we can look together at where we stand with the passion still flickering within us.
