Horváth Tojás Gábor Trió feat. Cheeky Kórus

The Horváth Tojás Gábor Trio’s latest, sixth album will be released in the fall of 2026. Recorded in collaboration with the Cheeky Choir, the album blends the band’s jazz-rooted sound with the vibrant hues of world music. What makes this production special is not only the convergence of instrumental improvisation and choral culture, but also its fresh soundscape, which draws on the freedom of jazz on the one hand and the richness of world music motifs on the other. In addition to the trio’s own compositions, the concert program features arrangements of Bulgarian, Greek, African, and, of course, Hungarian folk music arrangements, which the band performs in collaboration with the 25-member Cheeky Choir—this collaboration creates a cross-cultural evening whose magic is sure to captivate the audience.
