Schedule
The festival’s guest-of-honor countries will be Germany, Austria, and Switzerland, and at the request of the German Foreign Ministry, the Frankfurt Book Fair will also join as a guest of honor.
The festival’s guest-of-honor writer and nominee for the Budapest Grand Prize will be Irish writer, poet, and playwright Colm Tóibín, and to mark the 50th anniversary of the establishment of Irish-Hungarian diplomatic relations, we will also welcome other contemporary Irish authors to Budapest.
