If you want to break free from a dream or immerse yourself in a dreamworld steeped in nostalgia, melancholy, and hazy ambient sounds, saturated with reverb and fuzz, then you’ve come to the right place: the Vienna-based dream-pop artist of Indian origin, ROYE and one of Pécs’s most diverse guitar-driven bands, Heavy Mountain Olympia, are at MANYI!

ROYE is an indie, dream-pop, and shoegaze artist from Vienna whose sound was heavily influenced by the indie, post-punk, and shoegaze scenes of the late ’80s and early ’90s. He first emerged on the Prague music scene, and after releasing several singles, he put out his first self-released lo-fi shoegaze/dream pop album, *Slow*, in 2022.

The album is built around mid-tempo, heavily reverberant drum sounds, ethereal vocals, undulating synthesizers, and guitar textures saturated with fuzz and chorus effects.

The second album, *Funeral of Feelings*, weaves coldwave and new wave synth elements into an indie dream-pop sound, evoking a unique atmosphere of nostalgia and escape from a dream.

In May 2025, ROYE embarked on a European concert tour, performing in Barcelona, Madrid, and Valencia as part of a three-stop tour of Spain, among other cities. They are currently touring various cities across Europe, and as part of their “Time to Reflect 2026” tour—after stops in Prague, Vienna, and Warsaw—they will take the stage in Budapest for the first time.

Heavy Mountain Olympia is an indie/alternative rock band that traded their earlier experimental metal-shoegaze roots for a cleaner indie sound on last year’s album *HMO*. Their music is driven by gut-wrenching riffs, psychedelic undertones, and raw yet melodic energy.
