Pavel „Pasha” Talankin is the heart and soul of the local school in a forgotten Russian town in the middle of the Ural Mountains. Pasha is responsible for videoing school events – and general cheer. His office is an island of freedom, a real refuge for students. But with the beginning of the invasion of Ukraine, new curriculum and programs „educating patriotism” are added to the curriculum. Putin's hand reaches this small town at the end of the world and grabs Pasha by the neck: the popular teacher has no choice but to put his video camera at the service of propaganda. However, the free-spirited master of fun is unable to watch the brainwashing that has reached the top with folded hands. Instead, he starts a risky business. He prepares his recordings of the political education of children and the militarization of education as dictated by his new job description. But from these shots, he makes a completely different kind of film than what they want to see in the Kremlin. But what is the price of rebellion in the Putin regime?
The film is shown in the original Russian language, with 🇬🇧 ENGLISH and 🇭🇺 HUNGARIAN subtitles.
