A farmers’ and craft market is making its debut under the barn at Dürer Kert!🧺
On 4 October, we’re bringing the cosy atmosphere of Platz and the tradition of market-going to Dürer Kert, a venue buzzing with music and cultural life:
You can look forward to a leisurely Sunday, where local producers will be waiting for you with freshly picked fruit and vegetables, homemade preserves, cheeses, baked goods, additive-free syrups, jams and other delicacies. At the stalls run by craftspeople and artists, you’ll be able to browse a selection of unique, handmade decorations, ceramics, jewellery and natural cosmetics, amongst other things. You can also discover gourmet treats, eco-friendly solutions and lots and lots of exciting goods!
•Drinks will be provided by the Dürer bar, whilst food trucks will serve lunch
•We’ve been preparing a children’s programme
•Entry is free, the venue is dog-friendly and has plenty of bike racks
After the weekend’s Dürer concerts and parties, round off the week with a laid-back event, browsing the market with family and friends!
Dürer Kert
Dürer Kert, which moved from the City Park to the vicinity of Kopaszi Dam, is one of the hangouts of Budapest's surviving peripheral subcultures, but it's also worth visiting if you just want a perfect garden spot. That is, starting in spring. Until then, let's keep rockin'! And after that, too.
