Palya Bea 50
Bea Palya is celebrating her fiftieth birthday with a special concert that spans her entire career. The evening will be a musical journey through the most significant milestones of her career to date: songs from almost every one of Bea’s albums will be performed, in a one-off setlist that the audience has never heard in this form before.
Schedule
Songs from *Egyszálé*, *Psyché*, *Adieu les complexes*, *Ezeregy Séfárd Éjszaka*, *Ribizliálom*, *Nő*, *Tovább nő*, *Nappali dalok*, *Hazatalálok*, *LéleKzet*, *Élet*, *Tüzet viszek* and *Fénydalok* – and a brand-new song will also be unveiled.
‘Aki egyszer útnak indul…’ is not merely a look back, but the beginning of a new journey. It is a story of the first fifty years, of constant change and of that inner strength that carries a person forward: their feet, their heart and their voice, towards the next fifty.
The evening is the culmination of PB50’s year-long series of celebrations. We are not merely celebrating Bea Palya’s career, but everything her work represents: the freedom of the voice, the individual and communal power of singing, authentic self-expression, fulfilment in womanhood, and the healing power of songwriting.
Bring your ears, your hearts and your voices: to listen to music, to love it and to sing along.
