Schedule

The exhibition at the Műcsarnok introduces visitors to the concept of dataism. At the center of the exhibition is Albert-László Barabási, an internationally renowned network researcher whose work examines the functioning of networks emerging from data. Over the past five years, Barabási has embarked on large-scale fine art and painting projects, organized a studio (Barabási Atelier) around himself, and created a unique series of painting projects, each of which takes its starting point from some form of data or data analysis across three cycles: Fake News, Banned Books, Numbers—each of which individually processes a dataset related to contemporary culture, revealing different aspects of dataism.

Location

Kunsthalle Budapest
