Breathing metaphors set to song: BREATHING is a unique multidisciplinary production that blends art-pop and jazz chamber music with visual and physical theater elements. Dominika Ács, a Junior Prima Award-winning flutist and multidisciplinary artist, released her first solo album titled BREATHING in 2024, with each track telling a story of a single breath. “Everything I feel, every impression I receive, the way I connect with people—all of it can be described as the flow of air in and out. There are times when we can calm ourselves through breathing, times when we gasp for air, and times when the air runs out. Everything I am stems from my breathing: my flute playing, my singing, my movements. Everything is born from inhalation and becomes complete in exhalation,” said Dominika Ács about the album.
