When it comes to the blues in Hungary, Jenő Fekete is a name you simply can’t ignore. The eMeRTon Award-winning guitarist and singer has been one of the most influential figures in the Hungarian blues scene for more than three decades. His passionate guitar playing, distinctive voice, and authentic style evoke the world of Delta and Chicago blues, while still expressing his own unique voice.
His partner for the evening is Misi Horváth, an outstanding harmonica player on the Hungarian blues scene. His playing is characterized by an instinctive musicality. For him, the harmonica is not merely an accompanying instrument, but a tool for storytelling.
Jenő Fekete and Misi Horváth have been playing music together for more than twenty years. Their collaboration gives rise to a unique musical harmony that is at once instinctive, sincere, and captivating.
