The protagonist of the tragicomedy is Kristóf Méhn, the painter-turned-bank archivist who lives in a condominium ground floor apartment with his wife, Vera. The story takes place on the day Kristóf accidentally discovers a stain of mold on the wall of their apartment, and soon after learns from Vera that they are having a child. He decides to discover the origin of the mold. While questioning fellow residents who were previously unknown to him, his conflict with the gentle common representative, who wants to take a large elevator installation project through the late afternoon residents' meeting, becomes more and more acute. As Kristóf begins to get involved in the affairs of the house, his suspicions grow stronger: the house is sick.

Bem Cinema
In January 2016, the 108-year-old Bem Cinema will reopen its doors to the public, in a new way never seen before in Hungary: as a cinema of cult and classic films (no harm!), or as the educated French say (if you know your English): as a "repertory cinema".
