LYND has been on its own musical journey for over ten years. In addition to numerous domestic concerts, it has also performed abroad in recent years: it has played in Vienna, Prague and Moscow on several occasions, and its work has been accompanied by several professional awards and recognitions.
After a few years of hiatus, the band is opening a new chapter. The Portrait EP is the result of a conscious change in musical direction: the previous electronic elements have been replaced by live instruments. The vintage sound, the characteristic guitars, the natural drums and the finely crafted instrumentation shape songs that are both personal and cinematic. The influences of alternative soul and cinematic pop meet in a clean, timeless sound, where every sound and every silence has significance.

Portrait is not just a new EP, but the beginning of a new era. Their songs explore the subtle layers of human relationships, the passage of time, change and hope, leaving space for the listener to discover their own stories and feelings within them. In their music, the brilliant vocal harmonies, tinkling guitars, warm, energetic rhythms and finely dosed synthesizer sounds evoke a nostalgic atmosphere and feel fresh and contemporary.
Based in Vienna, Pilot Jr. draws inspiration from artists such as The Smashing Pumpkins, Low and The Flaming Lips, as well as the rich musical worlds of shoegaze and dream pop. However, they do not simply reproduce their influences, but shape them into their own unique sound, in which floating atmospheres, memorable melodies and emotional depth form a natural unity. Their songs invite the listener on a musical journey where it is easy to get lost in a world of layered sounds, while the songs remain strong and melodic throughout.
