Borkezelő x Kaizen ~ Dunyi
2026-09-20T18:15:00.000Z
Borkezelő has recently emerged on the Hungarian hip-hop scene and shown that he doesn’t
bake his bejgl according to the usual recipe. Everyday nonsense, inner monologues, and complete absurdity.
Often ironic, sometimes serious, frequently both at once. Everyday tragedies at the
grocery store, expired bus passes, or even the trials and tribulations of wandering the world.
Borkezelő is a place where you don’t have to take either the world or yourself too seriously.
It’s hard to pin us down to a single style. Guitar riffs, the darker energies of grime, head-nodding
grooves, beats, and even ethnic influences all make an appearance in the mix we bring to the stage. Each
of our songs takes a different approach, while we strive to preserve the recognizable essence of Borkezelő within them.
Musicians:

Kaizen:
There’s a Japanese word for when something or someone isn’t satisfied with itself, with what it is. Kaizen. The six of us in the band originally got together to play music just for fun, and then suddenly we realized that this is exactly what’s happening to us: we’re constantly evolving. That’s partly where the
name comes from.
It’s hard to pigeonhole Kaizen Kollektive’s music, and we wouldn’t even want to try. A track might start off as rap, then shift into a heavier rock section, and before you know it, you’re caught up in a funky groove that, in the next minute, lands somewhere in a completely different style. You can’t predict what’s coming in the next track—and that’s exactly the point.
There are two of us at the helm of the band. BiM, as producer and musical director, brings the sound together, while I, Dé-Zé, handle management and take care of the other half of the stage
. We’ve been in the music industry for a long time, with some minor interruptions, but we’ve spent the past few years focusing on developing our dynamics and quality.
We started playing music together around February 2026 and gave our first concert in Örvényes that summer, opening for Hollywoodoo and Dog’s n Roses, where feedback from the audience and organizers confirmed that we’re on the right track. Since then, we’ve won first place at the
Fülesbagoly Trip talent contest in Keszthely, organized by Öröm a Zene, as well as second place at the Hangadó talent contest in Veszprém. As a result of these achievements, we advanced to the finals of the event held in Gyál and were given the opportunity to perform at the Keszthely Festival (2027). We’re performing more and more often in front of live audiences on the shores of Lake Balaton and beyond, and we’ll also be appearing on Petőfi Radio’s show “Hajrá Magyarok!”, where we’ll be giving a live
streamed concert for one of Hungary’s largest radio stations.
The event is free!
