◉ We’ve arrived at the season-closing RIGHT TIME! Before switching into summer mode, on June 12 we’d like to celebrate and properly wrap up all the amazing moments we shared together throughout the 2025/2026 season. And to help us do that, we’re bringing over one of our all-time favourite jungle / drum&bass artists from the UK: the legendary DIGITAL.

Digital’s name is probably already familiar to the Budapest crowd, as he has played in the city several times over the years. For his two-hour set on June 12, however, he’s preparing something special: starting with classics inspired by the iconic Metalheadz Sunday Sessions at London’s Blue Note in the mid-’90s, he’ll guide the dancefloor through different layers of jungle and drum&bass, all the way to fresh dubplates that will later land on his own label, Function. A fitting approach from an artist whose sound system-rooted style has left a deep mark across multiple eras of jungle and drum&bass.
As a producer, Digital helped shape the sound of the Blue Note years with a long list of groundbreaking tracks, later becoming one of the earliest artists to experiment with what we now know as halftime. His dub-heavy, unmistakably characterful productions have appeared on labels such as Metalheadz, 31 Records, Reinforced, Dispatch, Rupture and Photek Productions. Since 1994, his sound has constantly evolved and transformed, yet it has always remained instantly recognisable - and perhaps most importantly to us, completely true to itself. Landmark tracks like Spacefunk, Gateman, Deadline, Waterhouse Dub or the late Spirit collaboration Phantom Force all helped shape the genre in fundamental ways. His music isn’t made for trends, but for powerful sound systems and those moments where the bass physically moves through the dancefloor.
Digital’s importance to us is probably best reflected by the fact that throughout RIGHT TIME’s history, there has barely been a single night where we didn’t play at least four or five of his tracks. His work hasn’t only influenced the sound of our parties, but has also been deeply woven into our individual musical journeys from the very beginning, which makes his RIGHT TIME debut on June 12 an especially meaningful moment for us.
Alongside Digital - often described as a DJ’s favourite producer - the full resident crew of Panka, Mentalien, Benc and Aikatherina will also take over the decks. Once again, we’ll be pulling from a wide musical spectrum throughout the night: UK hardcore, jungle, drumfunk, drum&bass and 160-ish bass music, powered heavily by the Atno and Rába sound systems. 🙂
