beohnir
I invented the name beohnir as a child. I used it in every fantasy game where I could create an imaginary protagonist. I imagined him as a wanderer character, wearing a brown cloak and carrying a sword, travelling the world, visiting strange landscapes and meeting all kinds of people. It seems that this character lives on in my music. (His cape is now green.)
My education has also been such an all-round adventurous journey: acting as a child, then classical music at the conservatoire and academy, lots of light music and film music analysis in my spare time, then teaching all over the place, and finally lots and lots of learning about electronic music and the mysteries of computer creation.
And now here I am. I'm watching the world and myself in it, learning from others, helping and asking for help, and then telling all about it with film scores and electronic music. I play the piano a lot, sing more and more, disappear into the studio, experiment, explore. Then suddenly I appear with a beohnir concert, where we dive into more sombre themes together. But as dark and brooding as the music will be, it will also be just as soul-warming and beautiful. I can promise you that.
