Weekend Vikings

Weekend Vikings is a dynamic new duo delivering melodic, improvisational, and fast-paced music that appeals to fans of jazz, modern genres, and progressive rock alike. Their music is rooted in improvisation, honesty, and freedom, allowing them to develop ideas and compose structures collaboratively. Gábor Szunyogh plays both keyboard, electric bass, creating a rich and complex soundscape. Viktor Szathmáry’s precise and imaginative drumming provides a solid framework for their performances. Currently working on their first album, Weekend Vikings already releases single recordings. While they light up the Budapest nights, the duo is also ready and excited to embark on European “raids,” bringing their unique sound to new audiences across the continent.
