The Weekend Vikings are a dynamic new duo that delivers melodic, improvisational and fast-paced music that will appeal to fans of jazz, modern genres and progressive rock. Their music is rooted in improvisation, honesty and freedom, allowing them to develop ideas and compose structures together. Gábor Szunyogh plays both keyboards and electric bass, creating a rich and complex soundscape. Viktor Szathmáry's precise and imaginative drumming provides a solid framework for their performance. Currently working on their first album, Weekend Vikings is already releasing singles. As they light up the nights in Budapest, the duo are ready and excited to embark on European "portages" to bring their unique sound to new audiences across the continent.
