Dharma Beatz

I entered the underground scene as a drum and bass DJ in 2009. Soon after, I was captivated by the world of beatbox and rap, leading to the release of my hip-hop album Dharma Beatz – Hipnózis.

In 2018, I joined the Chily Team as a DJ, where I have since become one of the main organizers, promoting reggae/dub, psychedelic dub, and goa trance in the nightlife scene. If I had to categorize myself musically, I would say I move primarily within the realms of reggae/dub/jungle, ethno/world, and goa trance, and I’m particularly drawn to the fusion of these styles.

Since 2022, I have been a regular performer at events organized by the Hungarian Two-Tailed Dog Party (MKKP).

In the same year, I started producing dub and psydub. Since then, I have released three EPs and one album, as well as a collaborative album in Spain titled Sonic Resonance with WAMI Records, together with Wallar (Dharma Psy Project & Wallar).

I am actively involved in the underground music scene, both locally and internationally.

As an organizer, I focus on community building, as a DJ, I am driven by entertaining people, and as a producer, I am inspired by the joy of creation, artistic freedom, and the successes I achieve.

In my music, I enjoy blending classic dub with psychedelic soundscapes and traditional instruments—whether they originate from the Balkans, India, Asia, or the Arab world.

What I am most proud of is that, besides performing in Hungarian clubs, bars, and festivals, I have also had multiple gigs in Spain and have been regularly playing music in Goa, India, as part of the reggae/DnB community.
