A Király Halott

The band first showed signs of life in 2016, when singer Balázs Venyige made the first demo recordings. The style of his band at the time didn't really fit in with the ideas that characterised those recordings, so he decided to form a new band. He brought two members of his former band with him and asked Zoli Kozma, a drummer known from the hardcore music scene in Nyíregyháza, to join the new formation. Zoli agreed, provided that he could bring one of his fellow musicians with him. That's how Bence Mile, the band's second guitarist, joined the band. Since Balázs and Bence went to the same high school, familiarity and musical cooperation were not a problem. The formation of the band seemed almost final, but in the end Balázs' former bandmates decided to go their separate ways and try their hand at a different style of music. So the band finally started as a trio.
