Peca

The Peca band was founded in 2003 in Budapest by Barna Gábos, who started playing music at a very young age, self-educated and with unwavering dedication. Although they have already released three albums with long breaks, they are essentially a concert band, in which the music of different cultures can be linked in a unique way. In addition to Hungarian folk music, there is a significant place for West African traditional influences, Afrobeat and Latin music, but also the entire musical spectrum of Eastern Europe and the Balkans. This broad repertoire is an inspiration for the members of the orchestra, who individually represent a wide range of styles, from ethnic to gypsy and world music. It is dynamic, percussive music with instrumental and vocal tracks.
