Gingershot

Szegedi Fanni, known as Gingershot, boasts an eclectic taste in music, embracing everything from the harsh, grating sounds of industrial to the emotional and fragile tones of heartbreaking vocals. Her goal is to thicken the sound armed with extreme antipodes to achieve the well-known aesthetic formula: 1 + 1 = 3. As a genre juggler, she delights in expanding her music library while also pursuing academic studies in a master's program in the philosophy of Bodily experience and theory of arts.

Since 2021, she has become a sought-after DJ, frequently performing at various events.Beyond DJing, she is an active commentator on the local scene, cherishing her roles as both participant and observer. Her dedication has taken her beyond Budapest to other cities in Hungary and internationally to Berlin, with a guest mix release in Madrid, and performances at Inota Festival and Kamalect. In Budapest, she holds a residency with the Kindergarten event series. In 2024, she further solidified her position in the industry by joining Funkful Records as a resident DJ.
