Gábor Szunyogh

Gábor Szunyogh is a Budapest-based pianist and composer who has been writing and performing music for over 25 years. His work moves freely between jazz, blues, classical influences, and psychedelic, cinematic soundscapes, combining carefully structured compositions with spontaneous improvisation.

His first full-length solo piano album, BEND – Bent Reality, features fourteen original compositions. Each piece explores a distinct atmosphere or imaginary world, ranging from playful, rhythm-driven music to meditative and lyrical passages.

The album premiered live in October 2026 at FUGA – Budapest Center of Architecture, where Szunyogh performed on a Bösendorfer concert grand piano. The complete concert film is available on FUGA's YouTube channel.

Alongside his solo piano work, he is also the keyboardist of Weekend Vikings, an instrumental duo with drummer Viktor Szathmáry, performing original music.
