Pápa
Pápa is a historic town in Veszprém County, located near the northern edge of the Bakony Hills, in the Little Hungarian Plain (Kisalföld). It is the second largest settlement in Veszprém County and serves as the center of the Pápai District. The town is renowned for its numerous churches, the Esterházy Palace, its Baroque architecture, and its Reformed College. With a population of around 30,000, Pápa is the cultural, economic, and tourist center of the region. It lies 42 km south of Győr, 95 km southeast of Bratislava, and 40 km northwest of Veszprém.
Pápa is the center of the Reformed Church in Transdanubia.
