Kali

As a selector, Kali ’s musical style fluctuates around trance infused house, high-speed techno stirred up with breaks and electro.

She started her journey as a dj at queer parties in Budapest in 2013. She soon gained experience in organizing events, while she explored different venues with various party series, always striving to create a safe space for LGBTQI+ people in Budapest. Her mission has always been to reinforce the representation of queer people and womxn in the electronic music scene. She was part of the technosexual party collective of OMOH, and since 2019 she’s an active member of Persephone a queer feminist collaboration dedicated to showcase FLINTA artists.

She appeared behind the decks at many clubs (eg. Larm, Toldi, Gólya) and festivals such as Kolorádó, Daad, Ozora and Sziget. In the past years Kali had the chance to show her fast-forward style to the audience abroad in Kake, Berlin, Munich’s Harry Klein Club, Zürich’s FLINTA parties organized by GLITBAQ, and Innsbruck’s Arche Ahoi club.
