As doctors, Ondřej and Kateřina swore an oath to heal, to save life. They do everything they can for their patients, but even they cannot prevent their imminent death. In their innovative hospital wards, doctors have intimate conversations with their dying patients, recalling the most precious moments of their patients' lives, to face the inevitable together with honesty and light-hearted humour, and to reassess our relationship to life and to passing.
