The exhibition includes works from as far back as the early days and as recently as the last few months. The three rooms showcase drawings in black ink on white paper, etchings in blotchings inspired by ancient Eastern and Greek mythology, and prints born out of personal involvement with the Judeo-Christian world, brought to life through the study of the Bible, especially the Book of Psalms. During his years in Iraq, he drew Sumerian, Babylonian-Akkadian and Assyrian costumes, based on the findings and the assumptions of scholars, and, in the museum environment, influenced by the visual art of Mesopotamian culture and the poetry that was inseparable from it, he began his series of ink drawings for clay tablets of Sumer, each piece of which is entitled an excerpt from a Sumerian poem.

The Orpheus series was born in the early 2000s, inspired by István Gaál's 1986 film Orpheus and Eurydice. Here, too, no figures appear: neither Orpheus nor Eurydice are embodied, but their presence is felt - we see what they saw, or what they might have seen. We can wander with them and grapple with what the exhibitor calls beautiful problems.
