Bormedence Wine University - "In the footsteps of Hungarian grape-growing legends"
At the Bormedence Museum Garden we will organise 3 thematic tastings as part of the Wine University:
(a) "100 years ago" born Károly Bakonyi* (1921-2010), vine breeder, father of Cserszegi spices
(b) Ferenc Király* (1911-1982), born "110 years ago", will be remembered by tasting several wines of the Zengő variety
(c) The work of András Korpás (1945-), a vine-growing legend from the Highlands
(* Actually, Károly Bakonyi was born 102 years ago and Ferenc Király was born 112 years ago - we are now making up for the Bormedence tastings cancelled in 2021 and 2022 due to the virus situation and the war.)
. The Wine University lectures are free of charge for Bormedence Garden Party participants.
. The wines of the Wine University can only be tasted during the lecture.
. The tastings can be attended by 30-30 people.
Musical performances throughout the day:

The event is aimed at supporting wine-growing families in Transcarpathia: the money raised over and above the organisational costs will be donated to the places where it is perhaps most needed
