The opening of the exhibition will take place in an informal discussion, with food and drinks, the artist telling stories, the interested asking questions, everyone dancing!

The exhibition series is the result of Imola Hitre's university thesis, in which she explores her family heritage. In addition to the personal ties that bind her, there is an emphasis on the transmission of Croatian national traditions in her home environment. As much through the transmission of surviving values as through the search for dead traditions, the aim is to get to know the family, to explore the past; to understand the present and consciously shape the future. The initial starting material of the series starts from the thread of the maternal grandfather, clarifying links and ties, highlighting value-marking motifs and ideas. The artist's aim is to trace the further threads of her family over the course of the following years and through thorough research, to interpret and thus create an extensive, visually value-creating work, a family tree that becomes a subjective photo album, if you like.
