Can a woman winemaker's wine be distinguished from a man's wine? If so, how is it different? Does a woman who has given her head to viticulture and winemaking consciously seek out different aromas and flavours in wine and bring them to fruition? Or does she unconsciously prefer other growing regions and thus influence the style of her wines in a meaningful way? What is certain is that the wines of our women winemakers are making a mark in many parts of the world. One of Bott Juci's wines, for example, arrived at one of my wine clubs with a Japanese label, and it turned out that Juci had opened a Japanese export package to show us one of her finest Csontos furmint. So, at the MáraiKult Women's Day event, we'll be drinking the wines of female winemakers Juci Bott, Saci Bárdos, Stephanie Berecz, Dóra Molnár Júlia and Vivien Ujvári, and we'll be trying to get to the bottom of the mystery with lots of conversation, as usual. We have a surprise for our lady guests on this day.
