A történet Fazekas Mihály művén alapul, a mese régi, de a megközelítés módja merőben új, ugyanis Schwajda György a libák szemszögéből írta meg a cselekményt. Itt minden és mindenki "libából" van. A szereplők a darab igényei szerint változnak libából emberré. A főliba - Galibának hívják - a cselekmény mozgatója és még a díszletet is egy liba "alakítja". Csupa humorral, fordulattal megtűzdelt darab, kitűnő zenével. A vidám játék a kicsiknek nagy mulatságra szolgál, és a Madách színházi hagyományok alapján a szülők is nagyszerűen szórakozhatnak.

There is still an “era” in the Madách Theater. The era of the rise and success of musical theater. Both performances were directed by Tamás Szirtes, who was elected director of the Madách Theater in 2004.
