For Women's Day, we're once again buying the obligatory bouquets for our female colleagues, girlfriends and female relatives. But is that really what counts? Over the past decades, men's and women's roles, rights, duties and ideals have undergone a major transformation. In the pursuit of gender equality, career building, good looks and sex appeal, we have thrown away a significant part of our traditions.
We can look at traditions as outdated, inflexible indoctrinations. We might think that our modern society has outgrown such limitations.
