Nagy, will talk about the works on display, where and how war correspondents lived and worked during the war years, and what war, the front and military life meant to the exhibiting artists. The guided tour will be accompanied by improvisational music by cellist Endre Kertész.

For the fifth time, the Hegyvidék Gallery presents a selection from the Antal-Lusztig Collection in Debrecen. This year's exhibition will focus on the works of László Mednyánszky and István Nagy from the First World War, with works by Ödön Márffy, Ferenc Medgyessy and József Rippl-Rónai. The main task of the press after the outbreak of the war was to inform those left behind. This work was carried out by the press headquarters, in which, in addition to journalists and photographers, artists also participated. The artists were expected to do the same as the photographers - document the war.

Hegyvidék Galéria
A Hegyvidék Galéria, jelenleg a MOMkult tagintézményeként, 1998 óta működik kortárs képzőművészeti kiállítótérként. 2017 januárjában költözött a Királyhágó térre egy korszerű, modern, letisztult és világos térbe, amelynek belsőépítészeti kialakítását, valamint a Galéria arculatát a MOME diákjai között meghirdetett ötletpályázat győztesei tervezték.
Kulturális színtérként helyet ad tárlatokat kísérő rendezvényeknek, tárlatvezetéseknek, beszélgetéseknek, múzeumpedagógiai foglalkozásoknak, valamint más művészeti és irodalmi programoknak, művészettörténeti előadásoknak, irodalmi esteknek, könyvbemutatóknak, műterem-látogatásoknak. A kiállítások ideje alatt, nyitvatartási időben, lehetőség van a Galéria könyvtárában található művészeti témájú könyvek helyben történő olvasására is.
