Puppetry: object play

Schedule
What is this? A pebble or a snail shell? I think it's a seed! What do you do with a seed? Eat it? Throw it? Put it in your pocket? The best thing to do is to plant it!
But how? And where? And then what? What colour will it be? What shape? Will it have flowers? Will it be as big as me? Or even bigger than me? What if we plant more seeds and they all grow big? That's a forest! Ouch, but there are other people living there! Animals! We have deer, roe deer, foxes, birds, badgers, wild boars. Bears? You have bears? And wolves, jaguars, gorillas, chimpanzees, snakes, orangutans?
The show is an opportunity for an early, playful introduction to the basics of nature. Recycled elements, low-plastic set, balls made of retextile, costume made of second-hand! The earlier we learn to take care of our environment, the better the world will be! During the rehearsal process, we did our utmost to ensure that the performance leaves as little ecological footprint as possible! And the title is a tribute to the work of Jane Goodall.

We have had great eras, emblematic performances, and have been able to respond to the changes and cultural influences that have surrounded us. We are the only established theatre in Budapest that specialized in the genre of puppetry.
