BME Art in Residence exhibition
As the first university in Hungary to offer technical and scientific education, the Budapest University of Technology and Economics has launched an art residency programme. The programme involves artists visiting one of the university's departments, laboratories or research programmes and incorporating their knowledge and experience into a work of art, which is presented to the public at the end of the fellowship period.

The AQB exhibition will showcase the works of last year's two residents, Ádám Boruzs and Olga Kocsi, together with this year's foreign guest, Javier Aparicio Frago. Boruzs' work, Kaotic Senses, was related to two BME departments, Technical Theory of Colour and The Beauty of Flows - the Flow Experience. His supervisors were Krisztián Samu, György Paál and Sára Till. Kocsis's work, Invisible Work, is based on experiments carried out in the university's Movement Lab. His mentors were Rita Mária Kiss and Dorottya Ágoston. During Frago's one-month stay in Budapest, he will be working on the theme World of Fractals, which was announced by Balázs Bárány, Roland Molontay and Károly Simon. The exhibited work is entitled: Aeschemic bodies.
