The bar's owner, Viky, still runs the place with youthful energy and love, and many people of all ages come here because they've heard so much about this legendary place.
Three decades ago, Viky transformed a burnt-out locksmith's shop into the place we know and love today.
After the 30th anniversary celebrations, we thought we'd celebrate the birthday with you every year from now on.
On June 6 at MANYI from 8:00pm, we'll be celebrating the 31st anniversary of the opening of Calgary Antique Drink Bar.
The concert will feature musicians who in some way
with some connection to Viky and Calgary:
Soma Nóvé & Soma Jr. Sándor Csoóri, Jr.
Lóci
Bori Hegedűs & Erik Tempfli
Márk Járai... and the list goes on.
We also have a little chat with Viky about the past, present, friends and whatever else comes up..
The entrance fee is 2500 forints, which supports the future of Calgary. Additional contributions can still be placed in the donation box.
