What if one day you met someone who dreams the same dreams as you do every night? Or more precisely, you would find out that you have been meeting in the same world at night for a long time. Would that make you happy? Or would you be scared? Or would you find it romantic? But what if you're not the least bit romantic? How do you look this stranger in the eyes the next day, wide awake after a tender dream? And, what if the person is not particularly sympathetic to you? Would you try to like him? How is it that at night, lying in your lonely beds miles apart, you can have each other, but during the day, standing across from each other in the flesh, you can't even have a lousy first date normally? And what if the second date turns out awkwardly? And the third is downright embarrassing? Would you give up? And if you gave up, could you stand it?
