The Four Souls of Kojot is the new film from the director of Nyócker!, Áron Gauder. The feature-length animated film retells the Indian creation story with the mythical character of Kojot at its centre. Through the myth of the creation of the universe, the film speaks to the burning question of how we can live in harmony with our environment until it is too late to destroy ourselves on Earth.
The Four Souls of Kojot is directed by Áron Gauder, who has previously achieved great professional and public success with his animated film Nyócker! Prior to The Four Souls of Kojot, Aaron Gauder and producer Cinemon Entertainment made two short films based on Native American tales (Kojot and the Rock, Kojot and the Paleface). For the short films, the director used the Indian tales that Tamás Cseh, the father of the Indian play, had discontinued in 2006. The scriptwriter of the feature-length animated film is, alongside the director, Kossuth Prize winner Géza Bereményi (Eldorado, The Tour).
