Ki-taek's family is made up of real bums. They envy the Park family's luxurious lifestyle and devise a diabolical plan to get close to them. But of course, nothing goes according to the head of the family's plans.

Two years after Okja, Bong Joon-ho's latest film made its debut at the prestigious Cannes International Film Festival, where it won the festival's most prestigious award, the Palme d'Or, and went on to an unprecedented career: it became the first non-English language film to win the Academy Award for Best Picture.
