NEEDLESS
The band was founded in Dánszentmiklós in the winter of 2004, starting as a four-piece home project and slowly growing into an active group by 2014. Their music consists mainly of more traditional elements of melodic thrash and death metal, with a touch of black metal and some progressive elements. All of this is mixed with a blend of aggression, mythical themes and a nihilistic contemplation of humanity in the lyrics.
On March 21, 2015, they released their first full-length release, now five songs long, entitled "The Dark Sirit of Ages", which received a very positive response from critics and audiences alike. After the release, they played several shows with bands like Aggression, Nervosa, Nuclear, Dew-Scented and Flotsam And Jetsam.
After a short break and a change of members, they released their first single "Stalkers of Athanasia", which heralded the release of their first full-length album "Heresy" on 23 June 2019, which was recorded with the original five-piece line-up mentioned in the previous paragraph. It also received a lot of positive reviews both at home and abroad.
A38 Ship
Converted from a coal-mining ship, the A38 is easily Budapest's most unique concert venue. The belly of the ship has been home to a wide range of live and electronic music for almost 20 years, and when it's full you can feel the rhythmic movement of the partygoers making waves in the Danube. Foreign acts often refer to it afterwards as their favourite club.
