"With me, the photography starts much earlier, not at the moment of shooting. The exposure happens in the brain, the soul and the heart." BÉLA KÁSA is perhaps the most important visual record of the disappearing peasant culture and way of life. On the fourth day of the World Music Week, the photo exhibition and live concert dedicated to his name will not simply pay homage to the great figures of Transylvanian musical culture, but will present the actors of the process that has continued up to the present day, who still represent, shape and form the heritage of the Hungarian Palatka.

"Forty years ago, in 1984, Antal Fekete, Béla Kása, Marci Kodoba, Béla Kodoba and Misi Radák were all at a wedding in Magyarpalatka and Mezőkeszüben. Legendary names behind legendary people." GERGELY KONCZ's words accurately describe the legacy and experience that we wish to celebrate and continue on the occasion of the event, in memory of the late MÁRTON KODOBA (1941-2003) and BÉLÁ KODOBA (1944-1999), the late world-famous premiers of Magyarpalatka, and the late contras RADÁK MIHÁLY (1938-1992), respectively.

After the opening of the exhibition, we would like to organise a varied programme of music and music-related activities that is not at all nostalgic, by inviting the authentic musicians of Palatka to perform, above all the musical successors of the Hungarian Palatka premiers, the members of the MAGYARPALATKAI BANDA.

Tickets in advance: 1500 HUF

On the day of the event: 2000 Ft

Tickets purchased for the event are valid for the second programme of the evening.
