Preliminary summary:
An urban adventure tour through the streets of Budapest's fabulous Buda hillsides, exploring the history of tourism on the Buda side in search of natural and historical treasures. Fabulous lookout points, legendary houses, monuments, villas, parks, squares in the name of nature. Exciting nature and culture programme in our 10 years of offer FIRST.
Don't forget that we are still inviting our guests on a TOUR, not a walk, with 300 metres of ascent and 550 metres of descent over 10 kilometres.
The route of the tour does NOT pass through the landscape protection areas or nature reserves of the Buda Landscape Protection Area!

Schedule
- Date: Sunday 21.07.2024, 10.00h
- Meeting point: Budapest - Buda side - Széchenyi Hill, Rege Park - at the corner of the park opposite the terminus of the Fogaskerka line.
- Distance: 10 km
- Distance: 850 metres, including 300 metres uphill and 550 metres downhill
- Difficulty: medium (in urban terrain, with natural features!)
- Duration: about 5 hours hiking time
- Route: Rege-park - Széchenyi Hill - Wolf's Lair - Svab Hill - God's Hill - Kút Valley - City Hall.
- Participation fee: children under 18 and adults ONLY: 4000 HUF/person, discount for regular hikers according to the level reached!
- Dog info: we can NOT accept dogs on our tours! Thank you for your understanding!
The tour site is easily accessible by public transport (bus, train) and by car! For timetables, please visit timetables.hu or use the trip planner app!
The route of the tour DOES NOT HAVE TO GO through a nationally protected natural area (tt, tvt, etc.)!!!
CANCELLATION OR DEFAULT:
CANCELLATION WITHIN 24 HOURS OR FAILURE TO SHOW UP AT THE TOUR SITE AFTER PRE-REGISTRATION WITHOUT CANCELLATION:
Cancellation within 24 hours of registration but prior to the start of the event or no-show at the tour without cancellation will result in the full amount of the participation fee remaining unchanged. This will be done by online transfer, by email agreement. By registering, the applicant also accepts the following terms and conditions.

Hűvösvölgy, Children's Railway
The railway is a unique spectacle in its own right, with children driving the trains. The railway line runs from Széchenyihegy station to Hűvösvölgy. In addition to the two terminals, trains make regular stops at 6 stations: Normafa, Csillebérc, Virágvölgy, Jánoshegy, Szépjuhászen and Hárshegy. The viewpoints, forest playgrounds, shrines and other points of interest of the Buda hills are located near the stations and stops. Families, groups of friends, school and kindergarten groups on half-day or one-day excursions can easily reach the starting point of the forest trails. Children and adults interested in rail transport can get up close to our vehicles, our facilities and our friends on the children's train service. Since its inception, the railway has been run by MÁV.
