His own compositions intertwine with the improvisational spirit of jazz to take you on a musical journey that will take you to the edge of your seat at the concert of the Samuel Baló Trio. Their repertoire is mainly composed by Sámuel Baló himself, inspired by impressions, moods, experiences and memories. The compositions often draw from the world of modal jazz and folk music. In their concerts, great emphasis is placed on freedom and spontaneity, while drawing on musical traditions, so that each performance becomes a locally born, yet not carefree, exciting musical exploration.
