Veronika Marék's heroes are known all over the world, generations have grown up with the stories of the teddy bear and the little girl. The greatest charm of their everyday adventures is that they are familiar to all children, present and past. Because everyone has longed for a red car, made friends with a stray kitten or built a house under the table. Everyone has been sick, blown bubbles in the bath and asked Mum for another bedtime story. And everyone has a best friend, like Boribon for Annipanni and Annipanni for Boriboni. Their relationship is an interesting blend of friendship and mother-child bonding. In both cases, it is unconditional love that binds two people together. The performance Boribon and Annipanni is nothing less than a loving, big hug.
The performance is based on the books Boribon and Annipanni, Goodnight Annipanni, Boribon's Birthday, Boribon is Sick, Boribon's House and Annipanni, Tell Me a Story. The songs performed on stage were released on the album Boribon makes music, which won the 2011 Fonogram Award for Best Children's Album.
