NIGHTHUNT is an exciting community game that combines tag and scavenger hunt. Using a treasure map-like passport, as a runner, you have to find hidden checkpoints in a city area. At each checkpoint, you have to complete various types of playful tasks and riddles to get the next checkpoint’s location. As a runner, your goal is to complete all checkpoints in order and reach the finish without being caught by chasers. If you get caught, you become a chaser and your task is to catch other runners. NIGHTHUNT is a fun way to explore urban areas and enhance your sense of locality, problem-solving skills and creativity, and enjoy team and competitive sports. While it is also a fantastic team building experience and great fun.

The original game was created by Ian Kizu-Blair, Sean Mahan and Sam Lavigne on 17 June 2006 in downtown San Francisco. Since then, similar events have been organised in several cities around the world – read more here: ichaseyou.com/about. In Hungary, the hosts of Journey to the End of the Night organised similar urban races between 2011 and 2015.

NIGHTHUNT events have been organised by /Kadabra since 2017 – more about us here: https://bento.me/kadabra.

The event is free to attend, but on site registration is required.

The organisers reserve the right to change or modify the schedule of the event.

Stay tuned for the most important and up-to-date information on the event and /Kadabra timeline.

Location

Budapest

The best things to do in Budapest! Several medieval bridges connect the 2 sides of the city that give it its name: Buda and Pest. Cruising along the Danube is a great way to see Budapest in all its glory.
