Petite Lucette plays vibrant music in all its flavours that awakens the body and intoxicates the senses. The band draws inspiration from world music and free jazz to infuse the unvarnished improvisation with swirling rhythms and the frenetic enthusiasm of the moment. At the intersection of trance and nostalgic melodies, they pursue the vitality released by the movement of the body in concerts bordering on ballroom dancing.

The five musicians return to the spirit of the first decades of jazz, when bands got people dancing every night. They are curious about everything, travelling between cultures and not shying away from mixing them. Nostalgic waltzes, sensual cumbia and tarantella infused with free jazz: they imagine their compositions as a multitude of stories that could come to life at any moment, even on the big screen.
