If painting, then colours, if colours, then painting! Did you know that colours have their perfect counterparts, they affect our emotions and even our sense of warmth? Why is one painting more colourful than another, and what do painters want to express with the colours they choose? During the session, we will dive into an interesting world of colours and shapes through paintings.
Did you know that you don't have to be quiet in our museum and that you can get answers to any questions you might have? Come on one of our adventurous guided tours for children and let's explore the intricate spaces of the Gallery together!
Recommended ages: 6-9 years old
Maximum number of children: 20
Duration of the guided tour: 45 minutes
The programme is designed for children aged 6-9, so please purchase tickets for children of the appropriate age so that the programme can be enjoyed by all participants. (1 child can be accompanied by 1 adult, 2 or more children can be accompanied by up to 2 adults.)
Programme ticket: 1000 HUF/child.
Accompanying persons can participate in the programme by purchasing the programme ticket for 2600 HUF.
Tickets can be purchased online or at the ticket office on site.
Hungarian National Gallery
The Hungarian National Gallery is the largest public collection documenting and presenting fine art in Hungary. The permanent exhibitions of the museum, located in the Buda Castle Palace complex, showcase the most important works of Hungarian art, including masterpieces by Master MS, Pál Szinyei Merse, Mihály Munkácsy, József Rippl-Rónai and Dóra Maurer.
